AIR HANDLERS

Air Handlers

DISTRIBUTE COMFORTABLE AIR

If you notice a large metal box with a blower as part of your HVAC system, that’s the air handler. What these do is distribute conditioned air throughout your home using ductwork, which the air handler is connected to. Air handlers can discharge and admit air directly to and from the area it’s heating or cooling without ductwork.
Air handlers include:
  • Blower
  • Heating/Cooling Elements
  • Filters
  • Humidifiers
  • Mixing Chambers
  • Controls
  • Vibration Isolators
Air handlers are typically installed in a garage, closet, or attic, or added as part of a package unit. We can set up your air handler to be up flow, down flow, or horizontal flow.
